This is our new 1972-74 Dodge Truck “Flat-Face” tach. A lot of time and effort has gone into bringing this MADE IN USA/CANADA product to market. This is not a low quality air-core off-shore product that you typically see in the reproduction marketplace. This tach utilizes a high performance stepper motor for accurate and instant response. It has LED dimmable back lighting. Works on ALL ignition systems without any changes (MSD, Points, Electronic, GM HEI style etc etc…) With the aid of the pushbutton, it supports any cylinder count and ships stock configured for 8 Cyl operation. When not in configuration mode the push button is used to play back your peak RPM from the last key-on cycle. Use of the pushbutton is toally optional. Tach is fully computer controlled for accuracy, reliability and performance.
We worked hard to make it as close as possible to the look of the OEM tach. There are THREE VERSIONS AVAILABLE
- PDD403 OEM Style 0-5000 rpm with black bezel and chrome highlight
- PDD404 OEM-influenced 0-8000 rpm with black bezel, for the performance drivers
- PDD405 above 0-8000 rpm tach but with PROGRAMMABLE SHIFT LIGHT, for the racers!
